These Glamour straighteners are just that – GLAMOROUS..
Fabulous product. Fabulous packaging.. Fabulous evening clutch studded with diamontes on the handle. How can
you not love them. The sleep mode is a stroke of genius – no more panicing when you think you have forgotten

included and also a protective heat resistant guard. I absoluterly love them and they are really efficient and heat

The clutch bag is neat and stylish and the straighteners fit in well

The actual straighteners are top class, they heat up noticeably faster than standard GHDs and as an added safety they cut out after 30 mins, so no worrying about having left them switched on.

Another bonus for me was the safety cap – didn’t have one on my last pair. The safety cap fits securely in place and it can be put on as soon as you have finished. Despite the plates being hot the heat doesn’t penetrate the cap and is safe to handle – so far it hasn’t distorted from the heat.

The plates are very smooth and easy to clean. They straighten hair with as little as one swipe depending upon how stubborn you hair is or what style you are after. They fit well in the hand and are comfortable to hold.

My only gripe is that one of the biggest failings of GHDs is the swivel connector. The wire snaps inside and cannot be repaired. The whole cable has to be replaced. I got these for a female family member and she'd have written the review herself only she's a bit busy right now - you can probably guess with what. Even blokes like me have heard female friends and family ooh and aah about ghd's and now I see why.<br/><br/>These limited edition Iconic Era 'Glamour' straighteners are beautifully presented and arrive in a black and gold gift-box, all tissue-papered like a box of fine chocolates. The satin clutch bag is better than you might expect, actually usable for things other than just storing your ghd's. The straighteners themselves are well-made and very well designed with lots of thoughtful touches - like tucking the on/off switch on the inside where you won't flip it off by mistake and the pulsing LED effect as they heat up (which only takes a few seconds). They're ready to travel internationally too as they're multi-voltage and you can unlock the 3-pin plug to reveal a 2-pin inside - OK, I know that's a blokey thing to notice but I'm doing my best here...<br/><br/>If you're a clueless bloke considering buying them for a wife, girlfriend or daughter then I've been advised there are a couple of things to check first: These limited edition sets feature the 'Classic' style of ghd, suitable for straightening or curling - be sure your intended recipient wouldn't prefer the mini or maxi versions, which are optimised for curling or straightening respectively. OK, now I see what the fuss is about. I got these for a female family member and she’d have written the review herself only she’s a bit busy right now – you can probably guess with what. Even blokes like me have heard female friends and family ooh and aah about ghd’s and now I see why.

These limited edition Iconic Era ‘Glamour’ straighteners are beautifully presented and arrive in a black and gold gift-box, all tissue-papered like a box of fine chocolates. The satin clutch bag is better than you might expect, actually usable for things other than just storing your ghd’s. The straighteners themselves are well-made and very well designed with lots of thoughtful touches – like tucking the on/off switch on the inside where you won’t flip it off by mistake and the pulsing LED effect as they heat up (which only takes a few seconds). They’re ready to travel internationally too as they’re multi-voltage and you can unlock the 3-pin plug to reveal a 2-pin inside – OK, I know that’s a blokey thing to notice but I’m doing my best here…

If you’re a clueless bloke considering buying them for a wife, girlfriend or daughter then I’ve been advised there are a couple of things to check first: These limited edition sets feature the ‘Classic’ style of ghd, suitable for straightening or curling – be sure your intended recipient wouldn’t prefer the mini or maxi versions, which are optimised for curling or straightening respectively. There are two other styles of Iconic Era limited edition sets – pick the one that most suits your gift-getter’s style – check-out the Boho Chic or the New Wave before deciding – and then go and ask a woman just to be sure. :-)

If you’re buying a pair for yourself you could skip the gift packaging and bag and save a few pounds by getting the standalone ghd’s but if you’re a bloke in search of a gift to get you in the good-books (and keep you there for ages!) then look no further…

This one is the best in my opinion as my face feels clean and fresh after using it...and grease free. I've used this product for 3 years or more. No facial wash can stop acne...so not sure about some other comments made about this product. That being said, if any product can keep your skin and pores free...then this is it. I use it 3x a day. Morning, late afternoon, and night. I’ve used many facial products, including others from Clean & Clear. This one is the best in my opinion as my face feels clean and fresh after using it…and grease free. I’ve used this product for 3 years or more. No facial wash can stop acne…so not sure about some other comments made about this product. That being said, if any product can keep your skin and pores free…then this is it. I use it 3x a day. Morning, late afternoon, and night. Can’t really recommend it enough for those with greasy faces/skin.

I design and create false nails for my friends and family. And these are the best plain false nails I have EVER brought. They come in 10 different sizes, so they are perfect for all hands and ages. The widths of the nails are also perfect too. I just can’t fault these in any way! Delivery was fantastic- delivered within 2 working days.

Got them for my sister and they are great value for money. 50pcs of 10 different sizes which fit all nail types. There’s a false nail size for every finger. There’s no need to worry about mixing them all up as they are numbered so you know which pack each nail belongs to. And they’re quite strong. Not the strongest but long lasting and durable.

I have a split nail which will take quite a few months to regrow and I’m hoping this formula will help. The effect of Dr Lewinn’s on the nail I can’t vouch for yet but so far so good. I do like the look of it on my nails, they look healthy. At first I thought it was expensive but a 30 ml bottle is a good size compared with a lot of nail products in my manicure box, some of which are only 10 ml.
